For over 15 years, Cambodian-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) has been training and developing high-competent human resources for Cambodia, enhancing mutual understanding and cooperation between Cambodia and Japan through three main activities: Business Training, Japanese Language for Career Development, and Culture and Education Exchange Program. CJCC is supported by both Cambodian government represented by Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MOEYS) and Japanese government represented by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Japan Foundation (JF).
CJCC Accelerator Program (CJAP) is a 5-month entrepreneurship program created by the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) supported by JICA and consulted by Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory LLC.
In November 2024, Mitosis Bioscience was honored as an outstanding scholarship recipient by the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) and Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory LLC, earning a place in the CJCC Accelerator Program (CJAP). This accolade recognizes the company's exceptional business concept, which not only supports the Cambodian market but also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Building on this achievement, under the guidance and support of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for CJCC Accelerator Program (CJAP), Mitosis Bioscience has been selected to participate in a business networking and study program in Tokyo, Japan, scheduled for January 2025. This opportunity will allow the company to engage with Japanese enterprises and gain insights into Japan's development experiences, further enhancing its capacity to contribute to Cambodia's sustainable development.
Khmer Enterprise (KE) is established as a trusted fund of the Royal Government of Cambodia to implement the support programs and directly work with partners and beneficiaries. It aims to mobilize, invest and manage resources, from all legitimate sources, to support the development of a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem and to provide financial and non-financial supports to related entrepreneurial ecosystem builders. They are entrepreneurs, innovative startups, potential SMEs and partner institutions who participate in promoting entrepreneurial activities driving innovation and value-added creation in Cambodia’s economy.
In November 2024, Mitosis Bioscience was awarded an SME support program from Khmer Enterprise (KE) as part of its ongoing work and application efforts. This grant aims to support the company with registration processes involving government ministries and provide additional business advice and guidance.
The Cnai Accelerator is a gender-inclusive program focused on Cambodia, created and implemented by Emerging Markets Entrepreneurs with the support of major international development partners.
CNai Accelerator is not just a program; it's a transformative journey. This 10-month tailored mentorship offers more than guidance – it opens doors to a potential grant of up to USD 30,000, providing a gateway to a vast network of investors and a thriving entrepreneurial landscape.
